Life begins after 70

Here is a guy many people in Western New York don't know about, but should-92 year old distance runner Henry Sypniewski...

Henry Sypniewski of Cheektowaga set an American record for the fastest 5-kilometer run by a 92-year-old man on Sunday. Sypniewski ran the Bob Ivory 5K in Tonawanda in 40 minutes, 13 seconds. That is 47 seconds faster than his time at the Syracuse Festival of Races, set last month.

Sypniewski also won the 90-94 division of the Masters 15-kilometer championship race, held in Buffalo on Labor Day. He is a retired machinist who began his running career at the age of 70.

Congratulations to Henry, who doesn't look a day over 91.
